Financial Assistance: There are a variety of financial assistance options that can help you pay for your education. Check out scholarships and get help with student loans.

Student Groups: The University of Alberta has no shortage of student groups on campus. Computing Science in particular has a very active Undergraduate Association (UACS) that can help you get involved.
