I am an Assistant Professor and Ingenuity New Faculty at the Department of Computing Science at the University of Alberta, since July 2008.
My research focuses on Web data management, particularly on semistructured data extraction and integration, and on Social Network analysis. I am a member of the Database Group and the Service Systems Research Group. I participate in the NSERC Business Intelligence Network.
For students: if you are interested in the areas above and would like to apply for graduate school at UofA, please familiarize yourself with our graduate program. I am always happy to provide qualified applicants with further assistance if needed.
