Policy for Collaboration on Assignments and Project

Although you are encouraged to collaborate, form study groups and discuss assignments, each student must come up with his/her own solution by him/herself. Students may be asked at anytime to explain/justify their solutions and if he/she is clearly unable to do so then a zero mark may be assigned to the assignment in question and, if warranted, the case may be treated as a potential case of misconduct. Do also not give machine-readable contents of your programs, or listings of any parts of the assignment answers to others so they can merely copy! The University's policy on academic dishonesty will be followed; see the UofA's code of student behaviour to know your rights as well as your duties.
