Student Resources - October 7, 2002
The student resource area is now accessible. You would need your login and password to access for reading or to submit a new resource.

Protected areas - October 7, 2002
All student registered in cmput 695 have now a login (unix ID) and a password. The password is initially set to the student 7-digit ID. Students are invited to change their password as soon as possible. This login and ID will be used for the gradebook, the student resource area, the chat tool, etc.

Projects - October 6, 2002
Proposals for term projects are given in the activities page. You can also come up with other ideas. Your proposals are due on October 15.

Reviewers - October 5, 2002
The names of the reviewers have been added to the table with the paper presentations. Please check your name there. This correspond to the matrix with paper presentations and reviewing. If there is inconsistency, let me know asap.

Course Notes for Chapters 1 and 2 - September 11, 2002
The course notes for chapter 1 "Introduction to Data Mining" and Chapter 2 "Data Warehousing and OLAP" are on line in PDF format. Check the course content page

First Class - August 5, 2002
The first class will be September 10th. There is nothing to prepare. Just come and meet the other class mates. We will briefly talk about what we will learn together this term and you will get a brief introduction to KDD.
