- bovine genomics (radiation hybrid maps, linkage maps, haplotyping, quantitative association studies)
- protein/RNA structure and function prediction (prion misfolding)
- whole genome based phylogenetic analysis (microbial, and various viruses such as AIV, HIV-1, and FMDV)
- cancer bioinformatics
